Currently open to user experience or product design opportunities

Hi again! I'm Rebecca Hsiung, an emerging product designer based in Toronto, Canada.

Currently, I am a Master of Information, User Experience Design student at the University of Toronto.

With a background in chemical engineering, I am skilled at making sense of complexities with logic and analytical problem solving.

I am passionate about blending practicality with creativity to create digital experiences that are not only functional, but also delightful and easy to use.

Let’s keep in touch! I would love to chat about work, projects, design, or anything!

Wait... did you say chemical engineering? What are you doing in UX???

While working in different industries, I witnessed the frustrations of my colleagues when interacting with both physical and digital interfaces that failed to consider the usability of the end user.
This marked a pivotal point in my career.
I have a desire to minimize the occurrence of “human error” through design. So here I am, on my journey to understanding intersection of human behaviour and design to create robust, accessible, and meaningful user experiences.
